Ep 59 Travel Guide – Graveyard of the Atlantic History – Outer Banks, NC

Tips

If you go to Hatteras in the off season (think before Memorial Day and after Labor Day) you may need to check and make sure that certain restaurants are open.

However, there are many places that are at least open for part of the day year round…and yes, even when it’s cold kids like ice cream. The Happy Belly was a fan favorite.

The Cape Hatteras Lighthouse is a National Park (bring those stamp books!) and a great way to spend a couple hours walking around.
