  1. As always, a great episode. Helped me get through a long boring drive back from NJ. One interesting point I read about the “spotting of the Doolittle Raid” that I wanted to share with you. The boat that might have spotted them through they were a returning IJN carrier. They never could have imagined a USN carrier in that location. I can’t recall which book had that comment. It was something the USN learned well after the Doolittle Raid.

    1. huh…hadn’t heard that. yes, learning more about these WW2 events is always fascinating. 🙂
