Honoring a Hero: The Story of Navy SEAL Lieutenant Michael Murphy

In this episode of Walk with History, historian and veteran Jenn visits the Lieutenant Michael Murphy Navy SEAL Museum in Long Island, New York, to honor the story of Michael Murphy, a Penn State graduate and Navy SEAL who sacrificed his life during Operation Red Wings in Afghanistan in 2005. The video explores his valor, the intense firefight that led to his posthumous Medal of Honor, and various artifacts displayed in the museum. Jen also visits Murphy’s grave at Calverton National Cemetery to pay homage to this true American hero.
