This week, in honor of the 80th anniversary of D-Day, we are paying tribute to soldiers who have fallen in battle.
We met the gents who run a non-profit called Guardians of the Purple Heart and were interviewed on their podcast Cover Down.
After the recording stopped, they told us about one of their former member who had recently passed away…who had been a Gold Star father. His son died in combat in Afghanistan and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery.
We quickly offered to visit him and to try and make a video honoring his sacrifice…and the same sacrifice so many others paid.
